1994 E350 issues
I am having some issues with my 1994 E350 with the 7.5L Engine. It is on a C-class RV. I went to start it up the other day and it fired right up, drove it and it was mostly smooth with a little surging at highway speeds. We arrived safely at our destination. When I tried to fire it back up to come home I had a bugger of a time starting it and when it did the Check Engine light went on. I could not accelerate, it ran rough and smelled very rich. I turned it off, waited a few minutes and it fired right back up, no engine light and running smooth. Drove it back home and scanned it for codes. These are the results in order from the scanner running in Key on Engine Off mode
558: EGR vacuum regulator solenoid/circuit failure – EVR or PFE or Solenoids
622: Solenoid/circuit failure – shift solenoid 2 – Transmissions
629: Torque Converter Clutch circuit fault – Transmissions
626: Transmission Coast Clutch (CCS) Solenoid/circuit fault – Transmissions
I recently changed the rail mounted fuel filter thinking it was clogged but still the same. Sometimes smooth and sometimes not. The vehicle has 68,000 on it. Has a Ford rebuilt transmission (at 54,000) and has been running great for many long trips since that was done. I will check the EGR but not sure why I have transmission codes, bad ground maybe?
HELP
Thanks
