1974 F100 Camper special , front disc brakes, automatic. What does it take to add a power brake booster? Is a different brake pedal required? This truck has a dual master and proportioning valve. Thanks
I believe an F350 booster will fit, but hopefully someone will confirm what year booster to use.
I read recently here that there are about a million different pedals !!
You may or may not get away with the one you have.
I modified mine very slightly, and retained the correct pedal ratio.
I recently removed the brackets that hold the booster 5 miles away from the firewall, modified the mounting arrangements, fitted the booster directly to the firewall, fitted a 1995 Ford Explorer MC, and have been smiling like an idiot ever since.
Mine is also an auto, so luckily the absence of the clutch MC allowed for the firewall direct fitment.
