Turbo flutter after 50% or more acceleration
So I bought my first diesel last night and I'm in LOVE!!! It's an 06 F-250 with the bad *** 6.0 (obviously). It's bulletproofed, rebuilt FICM, EGR deleted, and 4 inch exhaust IIRC. Previous owner had an issue with the turbo and replaced it. New turbo was DOA so he rebuilt it (sort of) and added a precision turbo (again IIRC) back housing (I think) to it. It has an SCT tuner as well and I have it set on the custom economy tune. Is this normal? Is there something I need to be doing about this? Any help EXTREMELY appreciated!

It keeps driving just fine, it just sounds like the turbo is flapping around after I let off of the gas. The SCT has data logging and monitors I think 9 things at once. I'll take it out for a drive today and shoot a video to see if it's an actual issue or if I'm just experiencing something normal and have no idea what I'm doing yet

If it "barks" when you let off of a hard acceleration, that's normal. These turbos do not have a wastegate (basically a pressure relief valve). So when you're running @ say, 20 psi of boost, and let off the gas, the engine is no longer using all of that boost and it has to go somewhere. Simply put, the turbo is relieving the pressure backwards through the compressor wheel and into the intake (backwards from how the air usually flows)
