Question Turbo Issue

Ever since I have had my truck, my turbo gauge has never gone above 21-22 psi. I thought it might be off slightly. I took a ride in my dad's 07 6.0 and got the turbo up to 27-28psi. On the way home I would accel to kick in the turbo and let off to let the turbo drop off. I ran it 5-6 times from around 10 psi up to my max of 21. After the 6th ramp it went up to 23, then up to 26. I think my turbo is sticking on the top end of the boost?

What do you guys think?

I can't offer help much with the answer to your problem but i can tell you that my truck does run up to a max of 28 psi at full throttle running one of Matt's tunes with the SCT. So i would agree that the bost you are seeing is a little low.
