I got a smoking deal on a set of Bilstein 5100 series shocks for a stock height F250. Fronts fit fine. Rears are a different animal. First off they don't make a 5100 series for a Ex. at stock height, only with a 4-6 in lift. I have 2 choices make a t bar eliminator or see if I can trade them out for 4600's. I like option 1. I'm going to go to the shop tomorrow and see what I can come up with. I'll keep y'all posted.
I thought of that. The shock has a sleeve in it and it's vulcanized to it. I'm looking at options right now with getting a new shock bushing or just weld up something quick. I'll post pics soon of what I'm working with.
I have a whole machine shop at my disposal, I might whip up a custom T Bar that screws together and hold the shock tight. I have a whole bunch of ideas going on.
