1998 ford F150

I attached the A/C pressure gauge to the low pressure valve and the needle moved to the red area which reads 'may have chemical issues'. I then proceeded to inject the refrigerant which would not fill into the low pressure valve. Any suggestion as to what I can do to address this possible chemical issue?

Just asking, is the engine and A/C compressor running? It will take about 30 mins to empty a can if you are at idle. It will run faster if you keep it around 2K rpm's

In the red? The engine is running and the AC is on? You should never try to add refrigerant if you are in the red.

What is the pressure reading? Are you sure you are connected on the low pressure side?

Yes, in the red. Which reads 'may have chemical issues' (as stated in the opening thread).... and it only fits on one valve, _ low pressure.... I'm just gonna change compressor. That is the answer I was looking for. This site is no help! smh
