F350 Steering Wheel Alignment Issues. Anyone else?
Looking for some input or if anyone else has had any issues with their steering wheel alignment.
I picked up a 2017 f350 about a month ago, have 2700 miles on it and the other day i got back in the truck after lunch and my steering wheel was jacked. took it back to the dealer today and they said there were no mechanical problems and that nothing had moved mechanically. they said it was a control module and they didn't know what was going on or how to fix it.
i was told to bring it back and they would tear the steering column apart and see if they could figure it out. due to this being a new dealer relationship i don't really have any trust in them yet and am a bit nervous to hand over a 72k+ vehicle for them to just "rip apart" with no direction.
They said they were unable to communicate with the steering control module however i was able to connect to it just fine and run tests through FORScan.
The trucks alignment has not been effected, the truck "thinks" its driving straight. the wheel is pointing at about 2 o'clock when driving straight.
anyone have any thoughts or contacts for reputable dealers they may have heard of something like this?

I do have adaptive steering... i believe this is why they said the steering wheel is electronically adjustable.
i wish the dealer had some sense of what was going on.... they were talking about removing the whole steering column but couldn't tell me why. my thought was if its electronically adjustable i could save my truck getting ripped apart for no reason... maybe not i guess...
