Looking to see if anyone else has had any sort of Vibrations in there trucks. I seem to have one from 43mph-65mph. I rebalanced the wheels 3 times just incase. Im really starting to feel like its the drive shaft.
Truck is a F350 CCLB. Has a 4" lift in the front and stock in the back so in theory the Pinion angle hasn't changed. Let me know what you guys think thanks!!
I had a slight vibration in my '17 SD F-250 Platinum when I first got it. I had a flat tire this past weekend and while the tire was being repaired I noticed 4.5 ounces of balancing weights on the wheel. The tire repairman had marked the tire how it original came off of the wheel and after the tire was re-install only took 1.25 ounces to re-balance. No more vibration!
There's some mention in the FB pages about F350s specifically needing new drive shafts for vibrations. I'd call your dealer and have them check your vin for TSBs.

Did it have the vibration before you did the lift??
Hi there! We've seen a couple of similar but probably unrelated issues. Mine in particular seems a little more elusive than what you have. Other threads of interest:
FYI - I've had pinion and axle bearings replaced, and it didn't fix it. I have a new driveshaft (both pieces) going in today, so I'll update if situation improves. My truck was 100% stock.
Like I said, doesn't sound specifically like what you're describing but might be of general interest to people who search out info later. Be sure and let us know what they find!
I don't have a lift, so this may not be helpful, but here goes. I had Nokian Rotiiva AT Plus 275/65R20 tires installed on my truck before it left the dealership. I noticed weird shakes at 43-50, then above 62 it would shake like a wet dog. You could feel it in the seat of your pants and see it in the steering wheel. I had the dealership rebalance my tires. It didn't help. I had a tire shop balance the tires. It didn't help. I took it back to the dealership and they check the run-out on my driveline and rebalanced the tires. It didn't help. I took it to another tire shop and had them do a road force balance. 4 hours later, the guy shows me the balancing machine. Only 1 of the tires would pass road force balance, they other three they simply couldn't get to balance using the road force balance machine. So I bought 4 Toyo Open Country AT 2 and had them installed the next day. The truck is as smooth as any vehicle I've ever driven. No more shakes anywhere.

Great summary. You are going to love those Toyos. I have never had balance problems with the ATs, MTs or the new RTs that I'm using. I always had balance problems before with BFGs and Goodyears.

Yeah I hope they do well in winter, or I'll have to get a dedicated set of winter tires. The Nokian Rotiiva's are far superior on snow and ice, the tire shop even said as much. They sell the Rotiiva's and they completely cover any imbalance issues, road hazard warranty, etc. But the guy said on the 20" wheel sized Rotiiva's they reject at least 1 in 4 at the tire shop for inability to balance. He said they reject 1 in 50 of the Toyo's. I bought the Rotiiva's off amazon for a cheap price and am fighting amazon for a refund at this point.

sounds like a tire shop i went to. complete morons. one of mine was 9oz out of whack and wouldnt pass road force from another tire shop. unmounted the tire and spun it 180 on the wheel and it was just 2oz off . spinning the tire will fix the problem sometimes. i wonder if your last tire shop knows that
op im trying to imagine 4" nose high. are u intentionally wanting a carolina sqautter?

The tire shop I went to is the best there is here. They rotated each of the three tires that wouldn't pass a number of times. The tires are garbage.
I have an F350 and have developed a vibration exactly as the OP describes... 45-65mph. I've also had the tires rebalanced twice. I thought it might have been the Nitto's but I'm beginning to think it's the driveshaft too. I'll get it looked at when I take it in for the leaking moonroof.
FYI as an update to you guys - I had another thread about vibrations that were a little different than what you are seeing, but I had my driveshaft replaced and it seems to be cured. Just wanted to post here in case you missed the updated to my thread.
I am very curious to see if a driveshaft fixes this for you. I had both pieces replaced, but I don't believe carrier bearing was. I also had pinion and axle bearings replaced before the driveshaft, and those alone didn't make any difference.
