I don't think the batteries are as good as they used to be, I've had some last 8-10 years

I'll agree with that. I've used Diehards for over 50 years and they're not lasting as long as they use to.

And I replaced the one in my old truck January '16 and that was the second one that I put in it. I think that I got 7 years out if that one, which was a Motocraft.
