1990 E350 460 intermittent charging condition
Hello all, please forgive my ignorance, its been 30 plus years since I last owned a Ford and that was a Granada. This new to me E350 with a Bivouac Custom package with two batteries is randomly charging. I replaced the alternator and the regulator to only have the same issue. It has a ammeter gauge, the grounds appear to be good, battery is new. I followed the ground cable down to the block and it is solid and I cleaned the mounting spots for the regulator as well. I am going to dig deeper tomorrow with my volt meter to verify voltage at the power wire coming in to the alternator and the s terminal on the regulator. Oh, this van has two solenoids, one at each battery.
Is there anything I might be missing?
