I've been driving my truck with all the ac parts installed but have not finalized the electricals. More specifically, the fuse box is missing the ac clutch relay.
This is an Alaskan f350 xl package with a 6.0 that I overhauled. It's a rare truck that didn't have ac originally so along with rebuilding the engine I've installed all the factory components of an ac system. The wiring to the sensors and compressor were all part of the engine harness, and I switched out the control panel for ac controls, but I'm now at the point where I need to either tear apart the under-hood fuse box or dig around for schematics to locate where a relay pigtail can be wired in. I figured I'd post here and ask you guys if anyone has had the relay box apart enough to guide me in locating that pigtail.
I'm assuming it's gotta be in there and all I would need is the terminals leading into the box, and a relay, since the fuse is already wired in.
If eact stands for electronic air conditioning control then I'm probably not since I've got vacuum control switches. Sorry bout the earlier brain fart.
Thank you for those Sean. I was able to determine which wires correspond to which pins on the relay. Do you have a diagram with physical wiring locations?
