F150 Trailer Special introduced in 1977.
1977/79 F150/350's only had one Trailer Special emblem (as pictured), t'was located on the rear center lower of the tailgate.
Only 1.8% of the 337,068 1977 F150's assembled came with trailer towing equipment, so today, one of these trucks would be quite rare.
To verify if your F150 is a Trailer Special: You'll have to order a copy of the original build sheet (known as a Marti Report), from martiauto.com

here's the markings on my bumper. Looks like a hitch was here at one time.

ALL rear bumpers were optional.
Stylesides available with an optional chrome or painted contour bumper or a chrome or painted argent step bumper.
Factory step bumper has 6 brackets (3 per side), aftermarket step bumpers usually have the brackets made as part of the bumper.
