LED Tailgate Lighting -OPT7 Triple
Just ordered the OPT7 Tailgate Light Bar (Triple) and stopped by the dealership to look at my new 2017 F250 XLT and noticed that where I want to mount this light bar below the tailgate, there is a black box about center of the bed right above bumper. Am I even going to be able to mount this bar? What exactly is that box?

Welcome to FTE Ryan.
The little black box can easily be removed and is there for DRW trucks that have a light bar located there.
Some guys are adding the OEM light bar in the same position instead of an aftermarket light bar.

As a said above, a lot of us have mounted the OE DRW light bar in place of the black blank. If you change your mind about the aftermarket one, here is a link for the OE.

Interested in this same one, does the turn signals light up amber or red? Did you ever have any luck installing?
