2011 F250 - AC works perfect sometimes.
When it does not there is not clutch action or signal.
Pressure is good, will work for many hours when working.
Sometimes it will not turn on at all.
I'm looking at installing a resistor in the evap temp sensor circuit.
Any other ideas?
I've got a 2011 F350 that the a/c is not working. Tsking it in next week. Will let you know if it's something simple (i think the compressor died though - don't hear it clicking on at all)
My 2000 F250 had a similar problem. It's been a while but if I recall, there were 2 relays, one on the high pressure side and one on the low pressure side. If they were going bad, you would get similar symptoms as to what you have. I thought the told me to try the low pressure one first and if the problem persists the try the high pressure relay. They were about $15 each. Just pop the old one out and the new one in. Not sure how different you system would be from the 2000 model.
