Short of possibly getting a Marti Report, I don't know if there's any specific breakdown on the production figures on this model.

A Marti Report would give you a bunch of information specific to the truck and may give a breakdown of production figures on that model/series.

The optional Explorer Special package was available on the Bumpsides from 1968-1972.

I can't say I've ever seen production figures broken out by wheelbase, so Marti Report is probably your best shot.

Awesome! Thank you! This explained a lot. **** truck is a 69 Ranger/explorer. My 69 is but a Ranger. The differences make MUCH more sense now.
