Apparently I'm a little off on my nomenclature. There are three shafts. I thought the lower and intermediate were the same thing. I need to replace the lower (6) and intermediate(5), not the upper. So do I just pull part (7) to remove the intermediate?
Question for OP - How could you tell or what indicated worn out shaft parts? I have a clunk on LH front when I go over bumps (like a driveway or a frost heave here in SE Idaho). It just started about 3 weeks ago. Just wondering how your diagnosed yours.
