I built the truck, and then copyed and pasted the link.
The link doesn't work for me. I still don't understand why whenever I configure one, it only shows the base MSRP and doesn't change as I add or subtract options......
x10!!!! My #1 gripe with my current F150.... 26 gallon tank.
If I shop online and pull up a window sticker to review, as soon as I see 23 gallon tank I hit the "X" and close. It's one of the first things I check.
The F150 I have was exactly what I wanted / needed at the time except I did not consider the fuel tank. I rarely bust 300 miles on a tank.
I've owned 2 F250 SCABs, a 2500 Suburban, and 2 F150s all with 34-40 gallon fuel capacity. Not to mention family Camary's, Jeep Cherokee, Avalon', etc. Current F150 has worst range of all. I've accepted it and felt with it for 10 years now. Never again!!
I wouldn't mind a bigger tank, but it's not a big deal. If I'm on a long trip, by the time I have 300-400 miles on, I'm ready to stop and stretch my legs anyways. And there are more gas stations that there used to be, so gas stops don't need to be planned as carefully as they once were (and you can always throw 5 gallons in the bed, just to be safe).
Quick update,
Turns out I'm gonna have to order, so I decided to wait till the 2018 drops and then get a lariat sport package, 4.10s and the 5.0 w/ the new 10 speed as that would be nice. My thinking on this is that I'm gonna be waiting till august anyways. By then I think the 2018 order sheet will be out and I will be one of the first to order a 2018 because I know exactly what I want. I hope someone will post here when it does come out with a link. (hint hint lol)

Ford's build and price isn't great with canada so you may be correct. Certainly all of the ones on the dealers lot up here have one. No 6.5 super crew with 3.73 and sport package on the lot though.
Huh... For me it said I selected the bigger tank. Any ways since I'm pulling from dealers in canada i may or may not get it. Not a deal breaker and since i plan on keeping this truck wayyyyyy past the point i need a new tank I will end up replacing it at one point due to the salt here haha
I believe the fuel tanks are made of layered plastics. Not sure how salt affects plastic. But I would always get the 36 gallon large tank, unless it's just a city-grocery pickup truck.
