OD light flashing code P0743
I have an Explorer '96 4.0 which recently started flashing the O/D light and the Check Engine light is on.
The code on the computer is 0743 (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical). The Trip counter and Odometer are working intermittently since the light came on but the Speedometer works fine.
The car has had a turbine like noise comming from the Mass
Airflow sensor for a long time now, even before this light came on.
I had the oil in the tranmission changed to see if the failure goes away but no change yet.
Can someone advice?
