Brand New 2017 F-150 alarms when entering.
So I have a pretty sweet job that grants me the use of a fleet issued truck. Yesterday I turned in my base model, plain jane 2012 RAM 1500 that had 105K on it and picked up a brand new 2017 F-150 w/ 2.7 EB. I like it so far, it seems to have plenty of get up and go, but I'm not loving the anti-theft system.
Here's what's going on:
I approach the truck with FOB in hand, press the unlock button which unlocks all the doors, I config'd it for that, and the doors unlock just fine. I open the door and the damn alarm starts going off. ??? Why is this? I'm not stealing it, I unlocked it with the FOB. I visited 3 job sites today and it did it every time. The only thing that shuts off the alarm is pressing a flashing red LED on the dash just above the drivers dash vent. Pressing the panic button, the unlock button, the lock button, and even starting the truck does not shut off the alarm, the LED must be pushed.
I cannot have this happening anymore. I sometimes have to respond to emergency calls for work and need to leave at late/early hours and I'd like to get back to being able to get into and start my vehicle without waking everyone for a 2 block radius. As I understand it, the LED button indicates that there is an additional factory alarm installed but I haven't found anything in the owner's manual about it.
Help please!
Thank you in advance.

No, not really. About an hour drive away. I found a non-OEM fuse holder under the dash with a 5A fuse. Pulled it and the LED went dead. Truck still starts and runs. Funny, when I opened it to look under the dash, the alarm didn't go off, so it's an intermittent problem, my favorite. Anyways, once I pulled the fuse, this extra alarm doesn't seem to function anymore, now I just need to figure out why it was installed and who installed it. As I said, it's a fleet vehicle, so there is aftermarket stuff on the truck which includes a Telematics GPS tracking system. It's possible it was ordered with an auxiliary alarm, but I don't recall seeing it on the build sheet for the truck. If it is a dealer installed item the fleet company is going to be pissed if it hurts the resale of the truck after I'm done with it in 150K miles, if it lasts that long.

Spoke to the dealer, he found the envelope that was supposed to be in the glove box, which has the documentation for the Pursuit remote security system, and a window sticker that wasn't applied after installation (its' the last step in the install instructions, place sticker in the bottom rear corner of the window).
So I stopped by the dealer, not on my route today but I made it work. Turns out the alarm is working perfectly in all aspects except disarming. It's not disarming with the FOB unlock command like it should. Waiting for my fleet manager to tell me where to take it to get looked at. The truck was outfitted in Kansas City and I live north of Detroit, so I'm not taking it there. For the time being it's disabled, and since the Telematics is tied to it, that's down too. I'm off the radar in a brand new twin turbo 4x4, woohoo.
