Thanks for the info, getting ready for tires, just seeing how wide I can go on these rims. Thinking Yokohama AT G015 265/70/17.

I am running BFG TA-KO2 34*10.5/17, no spacers. You loose a smidge capacity.

I have 3.73 also. I have a spreadsheet I did a while back that showed rpm to tie size to gear ratio. I'll see if I can find it.

I never felt the difference between the stock and my new ones.

I am not worried about the speedo since mine is off by 3 mph at 65, if I go with 33" tires the increase tire size will bring it right on, I am more worried about the gear change. I may go with the Toyo Open Country 255/80/17.

SuperDuty450

Here is the sheet.
Take a look at the RPM values in the different gears. This will address your power (gear) concerns.

You will see my reference on the 34's. This is actual size based on calculation obtained from driving.

The remaining tire sizes are based from an online calculator.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, very helpful. I see one error in the sheet and that's the 245/75/17 Dually showing the tire at 28 when the General Grabber HTS website shows 31.5 which came on my truck

Agreed, and I did not say above. The size for stock was based on actual rpm calculations in the truck. So that is what the actual" rolling" size is.

That's the first I've seen of an LT255/80R17 in an all terrain. I'll be making a mental note of that!

I was just looking the other day and I did not see Toyo making that size. I could only find BFG and Cooper making them.
