Heater assembly removal

Could someone kindly supply photos of the bolts that hold the heater assembly in place? Is it only the two I can see from the engine compartment? I can't see anything from inside the cab. This can't be that difficult. Thanks.

I've always seen either 3 or 4 studs coming through the firewall into the engine compartment - depending on what year and model the truck is. Once those are removed the only other items are ducting, cable and wiring.

What year and model is your truck?

It's a 66 F250. I'd like to service it before finishing the interior restoration unless it's a major pain. It's working ok and not leaking etc.

Yes, same as my 2WD truck - in that case it should be 3 studs poking through the firewall in a triangular pattern. Like the picture in this post - this is the piece that is immediately behind the firewall.

Okay that's what I was looking for. Two bolts must be hiding behind the wiper reservoir. One interesting note on the link you gave me. I haven't removed the tool box yet but will be interested to see if that rubber seal is there!
Thanks again.
