wiring help 99 sd

Hi all, need help with some wiring on 99 f350, it had a 7.3, 4r100 in it. I put a Cummins, 5speed in it. I pulled the wires for the neutral switch, and reverse lights out of the harness going to the auto trans. Everything works fine except now I don't have wipers, power windows, and the dome light flashes.

any help is appreciated. AJ

None of those failed functions have anything to do with the transmission.

Start by checking the grounds behind the kick panels and the power feeds for the missing functions.

Thanks for the reply. I thought the same thing, but every thing worked before I took trans out. Unless there was a ground tied into the trans wiring.

What about all of the transmission control wiring, what happened to that? The powertrain module could be all screwed up since it's programmed for an automatic.

Hi Alloro, The trans control wires are there, but with the Cummins I don't need any modules, or computers to run and drive. I would like to eliminate all the unnecessary wiring and stuff, but don't know how that would effect the necessary things like charging, lights,ac,etc.

All that stuff goes through the gem module.. Sooo I do have diagrams give me an idea of what you may need.

Thanks, I'm thinking I need something showing if any of the trans wires share a ground or hot with the wipers, dome light, and power windows. Also the abs light is on that wasn't on before the trans swap.
