Trans wiring
Got a question I hope someone can help clear up! 2005 F350 4x4 6L/auto truck. Can someone tell me what the transmission wiring/plugins do? There's the big one with the bolt through it and then 2 small plugs. Where in those would I locate the neutral safety switch wiring and the backup light wiring? Tia

It's not as simple as that.
Not at the transmission. On that truck, those functions are controlled by the PCM based on the output of the TR sensor which is inside of the transmission. The PCM then turns on relays in the CJB for the backup lights or enables the starter based on the data from that sensor plus whatever else it needs to satisfy its logic.
Where in those would I locate the neutral safety switch wiring and the backup light wiring? Tia

I am no 5R110 expert, but are you trying to add back up lights that turn on in reverse. If so I would connect them at the trailer wiring harness as they run on their own fuse.
