Rear GAWR 1732KG/3800LB
With Tires:

AXLE 26
Thanks!

The truck has a maximum vehicle weight of 6950 pounds. That is NOT what it can pull. You need to give the year, model, motor of the truck to get the max trailer weight. For example, an average size truck might be 9000 pounds, minus 5500 for the truck weight would give a 3500 pound trailer.
Go into your owner manual to the section on towing and read the whole section.
In it you will see charts that list your equipage for motor size, transmission, rear gear ratio etc.
On the right side of the chart you will see a max Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) for your truck's equipage.
Subtract your truck actual loaded normal weight from the gross combined number and that is the legal weight you may tow.
Do not use the door listing of Gross Vehicle Weight only your actual weight of the truck loaded as you would normally do.
That includes full tank of gas, passengers and any other items that add to the weight of the truck..
For example you may find a GCWR of 11,600 Lbs.
If you have your truck weighed and it goes 5600 lbs, it will be 11,600 minus 5600 will = the tow weight of 6000 lbs. max 'loaded' trailer weight.
Towing at the max or over will cause more wear on brakes, trans, tires etc. so expect it.
Also watch the 17 inch tire rating. It lowers the max weight you may tow as well as passenger P tire rating also is a reduction over an LT tire..
Just keep in mind you only have an F 150.
Good luck.

My TT is 3500 lb dry. My trucks motor is on the weak side and it has a hard time pulling the TT, even on the flats. All I could get is 60-65mph. I ran 55-60 to be on the safe side. I think the motor is the limited factor not the suspension. I am running 3.73's and at this point I wish I had 4.11's because of the weak motor. My $.02 worth.
