There is somewhere in the trailer page to select disconnect trailer. Maybe in the trailer check list. I ended up deleting the saved trailers to clear it up. Couldn't find the disconnect thing again.
Go to Towing setting and select "No active trailer" when not towing.
If I do that will the default settings for the default trailer still remain? And when I connect the trailer will the default trailer settings get pulled up?
Also what display page will be displayed? The last one before shutting down?

There are some trucks with known information display issues that impacts the towing screen. The system should know when there is no trailer hooked up, just like the previous generation information display. I had to completely delete my trailer to keep the system from defaulting to the tow screen and accruing towing miles. Now it usually brings up the last screen I had displayed...usually.
