Edelbrock problem

Edelbrock problem
I have put an Edelbrock 1411 750cfm on my 73 460 using my 4 hole fomoco manifold with an edelbrock 1" spacer. It performs nicely around town but starves for fuel on the highway and under load. I suspect that my mechanical fuel pump is insufficient and am looking for input on my theory or other possible solutions. If I need a electric pump upgrade does anybody have a model that works well to recommend?
