If in doubt, change them out. Best case scenario is to find good replacements from a donor truck. Worst case, take the existing arms to a machine shop, have the welds ground off, remove the worn pins, have new pins machined with a 3/4"-10 thread on the ends, weld the pins into the arms and reinstall the arms on the truck.

I suggest applying POR-15 to stave off corrosion. And then apply sealant where the old and new interface.
