Following along. With no boost you should have lots of black smoke. Do you have a manual boost gauge?

Okay I have an update when I first had the problem I went to full force diesel and told them so they sent me a new set of tunes now on the first set of tunes I was getting 13 pounds of boost with the second set of tunes I was only getting 5.9 pounds of boost so this morning I told my self maybe I've had a problem with the tunes this hole time so I went out downloaded the old tune on it and boom went back to 13 pounds of boost now that's not high by no mean but I felt like I had finally found some of the problem and at least my truck could jump out of its own way. Now I'm running the hydra chip and I was looking at going strait to power hunger performance and getting there tunes where else would you go to get tunes for the hydra

Or gear head. They should both get you where you want to be. Let us know.

The stock PHP tunes are not dialed for single-shot injectors - particularly with 80% nozzles. You should get so much fuel and have such a touchy throttle that it's a neck bender with contrails. Now that you're getting smoke - is the smoke above 2K RPM, below, or both?

We need to see that IPR and ICP, but a log of the data would be much better.

I'd guess a bad map sensor but Tugly would be better at this type of thing. Make sure it is hooked up right and wired correctly.

Is it possible to break the aluminum y pipes with the clamps? I was wondering about that today as I was tightening the clamps down.

OBDII tools link in my signature - all the gauges you could possibly hope for.

Yeah... you EBP sensor was toast. Make sure the tube is not plugged and that it doesn't have a leak.

I've cleaned the pipe twice now and still no luck so now I'm making a boost leak detector just to be 100 percent sure but I still can get anyone to explain why on one tune I can get 13 pounds of boost and on a 140 tune I get 8

That sounds like tuning to me. Unless it's defueling.
