uff da....its an "interesting" piece for sure. some pretty tidy TIG work on it. Seems like a huge, open, and flat plenum would kill velocity/flow. My hat's off the person that built it though. It's easier said than done to fab your own intake...especially with TIG.
Definitely interesting! And yeah, some quality work was done to construct it.
My issues with it would be that, first, it looks like it's really heavy. Of course, they advertise it as Rat Rod, so most of those just sit at car shows, but for a daily driver, it looks like the weight would eventually catch up with you. Then, as Dude said, the velocity/air flow through it looks like it would be horrendous. You'd just have a big box of air/fuel mist that would probably have dead spots, swirling, and puddling/pooling of fuel everywhere.
But, as the ad says, "BE DIFFERENT". So, it's definitely different.
