$60 AE scan tool EOBDIV EOBDV OBD2
I am trying to pass emissions in CO. I pass everything except that the SES light comes on when you get into the throttle too long. Happens at about 45-50 MPH only at WOT.
I am trying to find an affordable option to pull the stored codes.
It had some sort of chip on it that was attached to the sensor wires that were going to a sensor that is housed in the 'snorkel' thingy for the air filter.
It was throwing the SES with that "MB performance" chip thing on it. SO I removed it but the wirres are just dangling there. Anyone know what that sensor is? It is located in the hose leading to air filter.
Will this Autoenginuity scan tool work?

Thanks
Anyway, remove it and reconnect the original wires to each other. Reset the PCM's memory, then drive it normally and see if it will pass emissions test. You can worry about scanning it later if it's actually needed.
