Main Cap Bolts
I am tearing down a 300k mile 2v 4.6 out of our 03 Expedition and I've run into an issue off of the start. The bolts that go into the side of the main caps from the exterior are extremely tight. I've been able to get one loose but the head has already stripped on one of them and before I get extremely frustrated, I want to see if there are any tricks with getting these off. I do not have an impact wrench either so that's out of the question.
