Adam, we look forward to the pictures of the tread on the tires after the past year.

What would you say is the driving surface like? Would you say 75% asphalt/concrete and 25% dirt/gravel?

I love the Cooper ST Maxx that I have now, but would consider the Toyo M-55 if the price was similar and I could get say 70K miles out of them with Centramatic rings.

 

Yeah, photos please when the truck comes in. I'm tired of BFG All Terrains and Toyo At giving me such short wear lives of 20-25K.

 

I wish I would have got 25K out of my Rugged Terrains but they started coming apart at 15K and I lost two within 10 months of each other and a 3rd was starting to get out of round when I replaced them all with Cooper AT3s.. The 18's were all recalled but not the 16s.....go figure

 

I am on my 3rd set of NIttos. I do not have 1 complaint yet. 2 sets of Terra Grappler (AT) and this set of Trail Grappler (MT). All 3 sets have given me over 40k. I know some want more life out of their tires, but by that time I am ready for new ones anyway. My next set will be the Ridge Grappler. Same sidewall at the Trail but a mix between an AT and MT on the tread. For me a lot of importance is placed on the aesthetic of the tire. I wish I wasn't that way, but I am and it costs me more money. My friend just put another set of Toyo (MT) on his truck and he is happy with them. Said he got 65k out of his last set, but they had almost no tread left.

 

40k and the rear tires have worn down the middle and the front ones got cupping really bad, I thought it was something wrong with the suspension but I checked the air pressure and what ya know stupid driver was running them @25 psi on all 4 corners, guess aomeone went off roading in the dunes and forgot to add air... Fakin idiot ruined them, other than this mistake, wiithout a doubt 60k is possible.
Side note even at 25 psi the sidewalls were not budging of flexing much.

 

Those look great for 40k. Says the Bridgestone Revo 2 owner. Can you measure the tread depth? What kinda rotation schedule?

 

Zero rotation, after I left this job for almost 6 months, a new driver aquired the truck, and well you know how that goes. Ill try and measure it next time around.

 

I really think the price of these tires turns most people away. Ive been running these on my trucks that see mud/snow and they are by far the best commercial truck tire for 16", 17", and 18" wheels. 70-80k is normal life on my trucks that see mainly blacktop, and that is towing 15-16k daily. I do a pre trip inspection every day checking tire pressure, rotate every 3,000mi, and check alignment every 10,000-12,000mi.
