If you ask the guys at BPD, they dont even think too highly of Ford OEM oil coolers...with that said, what about XDPs oil cooler? Are ALL non OEM oil cooler minus BPD really a no no? I know they have the updated SS screen now in OEM

It's a good 1/8" shorter than the real thing.
I was in a pinch the other day and grabbed one since the real thing was out of stock. I figured "hey, it's not one with the cap built in......"
Compared the two today and discovered the difference, not to mention the Rotella has a little check ball up top, not sure what the purpose of that is unless it's there to somehow compensate for the shorter height.
Lesson learned, it's getting swapped out post haste.
