Break Warning

Anybody else getting a break warning in their Ford Pass app? My driveway is on an incline and I use the parking break. I'm thinking the computer thinks because the truck is running and the break is on that I forgot to turn it off. Want to make sure that's it or if I really have a true issue?

Break Warning

If the parking break is on the app holds the alert.......... just in case we forget

Perhaps it is a warning to let you know your truck has something broken? Kinda like the commercials where there is a security monitoring system, but not an actual prevention system?

If you plug it in via USB it updates a few things the brake alert being one of them

Okay, I admit it. I grew up in the era of dime pay phones. My "smart" phone should actually be referred to as a "dumb" phone, because of the operator. My new truck should be arriving any day now and I've been reading everything I can put my hands on about my new rig. I question using the Ford Pass app in any way with a 2017 Ford Super Duty. Yesterday I did research and Ford does not list the Super Duty currently as a vehicle that is compatible with Ford Pass. Please expound on this issue!

You can list your vehicles, ask for roadside assistance, find parking, find fuel, schedule service. I am using it. It will also list recalls if any, and send you messages if there is anything pertinant to your truck.
