Bed shift?

You are probably right. I need to loosen the bed bolts and see if there is any give to it. The bed on my green truck lines up good with the cab but the rear vertical seam on the drivers side is crooked as a dogs hind leg.

I suppose you could raise the bed a little and long-hole all the mounting holes in the frame with a die grinder and slide it over. I'm guessing you have to slide the whole bed and not just the front or the gaps won't be the same on both sides. Good body men (not me) can fix things like that but I have fought door gaps/body lines for hours to get them right only to realize they were probably never even. And don't even get me started on trying to set the hood to line up and set right,lol.

Checked the front ones and they are good, have not looked at the back but the front of the bed looks level to the cab. I'll crawl under it in the light tomorrow and get a good look.

(Almost) always when those rear cab mount deteriorate, the bed to cab body lines don't line up anymore.

A visual inspection and taking physical measurements and you should be able to deduce and conclude the cause of the misalignment.
Who is to say it is the bed that is off center. It could be the cab, and fenders, right?

I know what I'll be doing this weekend, go over this thing with a fine tooth comb. The carburetor needs tuning, brake inspection, the front drums need adjusted and the brake fluid will get flushed. There is a rattle in the steering column that is going to drive me crazy until it gets fixed.
