Steering collumn help
Hello all, I recently had a mechanic replace the turn signal switch on my 86' XLT Lariat, auto, w/tilt. Ever since the switch was replaced the fuse blows when the signal is used. He says one of the two springed contacts are arcing/grounding out. I need an exploded view/schematic of the collumn just behind the steering wheel if anyone has one. Also there's a small metal shim that fell out during disassembly of the collumn when the signal switch was removed & I can't figure out where it goes. It's about 1/8" X 3.5" long & rectangular. Suggestions? Thank you!

The spring contacts are only furnished with the T/S switch.
13341 is the T/S switch, parts shown with arrows radiating from 13341 come with the switch.
3E716 is the steering column lock insert, it comes with the switch or was available separately.
3C610 shown just below the switch is the upper steering column bearing retainer.
3517 shown above the 3D505 upper flange is the upper steering column bearing.
