Bumper Brackets

We have a 1958 Ford F 100 that we purchased replacement bumpers for but am having a hard time finding mounting brackets for the rear and front. I see front mounting brackets for up to 56 but didn't know if those would work. There seems to be rear brackets for the stepside but not for styleside, stepside work? Thanks, Ross

Front bumper bolts directly to the frame no brackets that I can recall. Don't know if the brackets for a flare side are the same as a style side.

Front bumper brackets for 1957/60 are not required

There seems to be rear brackets for the Flareside, but not for Styleside. Flareside (stepside is a Chevrolet ) work?
Maybe F100/250 (F350 no), as it depends on the type of bumper.
No front bumper brackets required, bumper bolts to the frame horns.

Since your truck is a Styleside, there were two types of rear bumpers and brackets.

One type for 1957/60 F100/250 uses the same brackets as a Flareside, the other type (1957/58 F100 deluxe)) does not.

Where did you buy the bumper, what were the applications for it and what type is it? Channel or Contoured (at the center where the license plate attaches)?

Rear Bumper brackets

For Number Dummy or anyone: I did not get a complete answer on these brackets. If I have the bumper with the license plate dip, are you saying that the Flareside brackets would work for me and my Styleside? I see several posts asking the same question but not a definitive answer. I can only find brackets for the Flareside. Thanks.

Maybe if you post a pic of your bumper it would help.

rear bumper brackets

I don't want to order my new bumper unless I know I can get the correct brackets. I'll get it from Mac's, LMC or whoever.

2) B7C-17787-C Right & (2) B7C-17788-C Left .. Rear Bumper Brackets - 12 7/16" to bumper attaching surface / Obsolete

1957/60 F100/250 Styleside / 1957/72 F100/250 Flareside / 1961/65 F100/250 4WD Styleside / 1962/63 F100/250 2WD Styleside (not Uni's) / 1966 F250 4WD Styleside.

All these 1961/66's used the 1957/60 Styleside beds.
