hey guys, i picked up the manual choke kit for my holley.
does anyone have more detailed instructions or a video somewhere on the install. the ones that come with the kit are very unhelpful for a novice like myself. Lots of little parts, im also confused with the lead ball im suppose to push into one of the ports?
any help or suggestion please.
on the side of the carb there are 4 holes, 3 of which are threaded for the choke mounting, the 4th is a vacuum port for electric chokes, the lead ball sits on top of that hole and gets smashed between carb & choke plate to seal the port

I think i know the hole your talking about, the lead ball is a fair bit bigger. im suppose to just force in into the hole?
I just did this friday night but I had the carb off so I was able to tilt it on it's side & then the ball would sit on the hole & I let the choke plate smash it when I tightened it
I,m just wondering if the carb has an electric choke now?
i've removed the electric choke that came stock on my carb, and installing a manual choke.
cmanka68 i'll go put that ball in now, maybe some light hammer taps to get it started will help.
i got it installed and it works good, only it's not idling on its own, i need to keep my foot slightly on the pedal. which screw should inbe turning to ajust this?
i don't know much about carbs.
thanks
