I am considering a tune for my 2016 Mexican F150 XL hybrid (whatever you want to label it) and the Livewire seems like a good product.
I am wondering what brand cameras people have actual experience with and how well they interfaced with the Livewire.
I plan on mounting a camera at the top of my shell unless people with more experience at this suggest a different location.
Thanks for any feedback.
If you wanted to run tunes for your truck off the Livewire than yes that's a good route to go. If you only wish to monitor vitals or use the screen as a backup camera id recommend using an Edge CTS2. A lot nicer unit, way more up to date (Livewire is basically 8 model years old touch screen technology).
As for the actual camera i don't have any advice on. Their pretty cheap nowadays so just don't by the absolute cheapest, try and get a decent quality image one that can also work well at night time.
If you only want a backup camera there are some on ebay pretty cheap that give you a new rear view mirror and camera combo, and the rear-view mirror has a screen on half of it that pops up when you are in reverse.
