Tie Downs

Hi all,

I've got a short bed F150 with a toolbox and chrome bed rails.

It also has a plastic bed liner.

How the heck to I secure items in the bed? I saw these little gizmos but I can't imagine they'd work very well?

What's my best bet?

Thanks,

Matt

I used 2,500lb stainless steel D-Rings with Grade 8 bolts

Post #94 in the link in my signature has a couple pics.

Those certainly look sturdy. I'm not sure about going through the plastic liner, but I'm sure I could get it to work.

You would have to go through steel, and like Jake did, add some structural support behind it, to be really sturdy.
