Awesome work and I'm very glad you saved the truck. I would definitely put the plastic behind the door panels. They keep out a lot of dust and water. And if you do find new seats lmk, I'd be interested in those.
I tore out my plastic and replaced it with "Frost King Duct Insulation".
Was going for more sound deadening in the cab. Think it was about 14$? a roll.
Takes some time to go around the wiring but definitely worth the effort.

I see what you mean about the wires. That seems like a great idea for the doors. Do you feel like covering the rear wall did a good job with the road noise--worth the effort?
