I've got a 1989 Ford F250 XLT Lariat, with a 7.3 IDI. I just wanted to real quick update everyone who saw my last post https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1485971-electrical-help-please.html#post17115649 . So it snipped off the connector and have soldered the wires to where they go. I went to go start it today and and although it has two dead batteries. It did turn over for a ten Seconds. But there appears to be some sort of horn sound coming from behind the carburetor area. After about five to seven Seconds the sound stops before clicking over to the fuel pump.
I got the truck sitting on a speed charger now.
one picture will show the before and after with the connector on and my **** poor job of electrical work.
Thanks

Reason: Spelling
There is no carburetor. The sound is from the glow plug controller, mine buzzes every now and then. There is a lot of amperage going through that system.
