2012 set 6.2l
Engine shutters and shuts off while driving, gives no codes with scan tool. Also when i turn the ignition it just tries to start like the ignition is stuck for a second or so then wont start. ( this happened once )

have battery "LOAD" tested...
check battery cables.. loose/dirty.
have charging system checked....
if the 12 volts (13.6v) is not stable.. the computer may complain (engine running issues) . and not give a code.

The ignition doesn't control the starter, the computer does. It is like a push button starter. All you have to do is turn the key like you are trying to bump the starter. That tells the computer to start the truck.
