I have a 87 b2, it was automatic, but automatics suck, so we gotta replacement trans and now its standard, and it drives alot faster..
But for some reason, whenever I hit 2000 rpm's the battery light comes on, ti doesn't have a meter saying how much juice it has, just a light that blinks for no reason...
It still starts, runs fine, radio and everything works, it just flashes when u hit 2rpms...
Anyone know why its doing that?
Or know were I can get a little shift light indicator to replace the little picture of a battery?
Iunno if it has anything to do with it.. but when the doors open the front and back cargo lights r suppost to come on, and uhm only the front one does for some reason, bulbs not out, if u push it on from the back it works, but it wont come on if u click the light switch, or open door... Can anybody help me??
It seems it doesn't like the low octain (donno if I spelled it right) gas..
I can have radio, lights, inside lights, all kinda elec stuff, rev it to 5000rpm and it don't flash nemore..
It doesn't come on anymore, but my rear light still wont work.. checked all the wires, and fuses.. Iunno whats wrong.. it just wont comeon when I click the light swich or door.. but if I push da button it comes on fine..
The battery light isn't flashing nemore, but rear lights dont work.. grrrr....
ok i got this one. i had an 84 bII. i replaced the old dash cluster with an 83 ranger, or somewhere along those lines. anyway the clusters circuit board is different. therefore making the wrong light come on.
Uhm, I didn't replace anything, it just stoped working one day..
Along with about 4000 other problems.. someday i'll list em all..
that'll be a huge post.. thanx tho..
