road trip time
I have new tires and a fresh front-end alignment on my 56 F100 so I'm thinking road trip. Shadyside Dragway in Shelby NC is having gasser drags this Saturday, April 29. That's about an hour- hour and a quarter drive for me. A buddy will probably go and drive his 34 Plymouth coupe. The weather forcast is for clear skies and 88 degree temps.

Heck no, I'm just going to watch. I wouldn't want to break something, especially with an audience. And have to be hauled home. The club that puts on these gasser events usually have a "special" parking area for spectators with rides like ours. Some events also have a swap meet area.
