Me again, as I was making my first flush I was looking for leaks and sure enough top front of radiator is drip drip........ Is this an easy fix or is it a shop job. As I am 73 not much is easy anymore.
Thanks,
Yes, I saw Ron, Super Tech, do his thing. Does not appear to difficult except the part of disconnecting the trans lines. Need to watch a few more times.
Thanks
Mine did the same thing, leaking on top. I tried JB weld, no joy there. Got a radiator from Sunbelt radiator through Amazon, put it on, it had hidden shipping damage and leaked. Got a stock type radiator from Advance and got to do it again. It wasn't too hard of a job, but no fun doing it twice. One of my transmission lines was a real beyotch to get out, though. Everything went back in ok x2.
Lynnmcmahan, glad to see another "old guy" like me on here. When I retired somehow this has turned into a huge hobby for me. We can do it, it just takes us two days to do a two hour job.

You are right Tideman. I was told that if you can read and turn a wrench you can fix it. That sounds encouraging but I was afraid I would break something until I changed the fuel filter. Had to use a 2' cheater, thought I was going to turn the truck over. Think I took the truck off the filter.
I'm going to give it a try early next week. If I bust I got AAA. Keep you posted.
