FWIW, I started using Stanadyne on my 2006 Ford 6.0 (a problematic engine) diesel....at the recommendation of the Ford service advisor. It made a very clear audible difference in the sound of the engine...much quieter and smoother. I have continued, and have to agree with an earlier poster that commented on how Stanadynye is made by an injector manufacturer. Other additives are can be kind of a garage mechanic blend that you know nothing about.
For me, I add it every tank....summer and winter. Same blend, performance formula.
It means nothing, but I have never had an injector issue (can't prove a negative).
Regardless of lubricity and injector cleaning etc....it is now -10 here and headed for -20. I have experienced colder (and yes, before windchill) and Stanadyne coupled with 5w40 oil lets my diesel start like summer.
Stanadyne is a demulsifier. Power service is somewhat obtuse about what they are (based on my conversations with them)...I trust Stanadyne.

I use Rislone complete fuel system treatment (for diesels). It checks all the boxes and is a demulsifier although I’ve never had an issue with water in fuel. I use one bottle every 5k miles.
...and since Stanadyne isn’t a chemical company, I bet Stabil makes the Stanadyne product also. At least, these products all have essentially the same descriptions, appearance, etc. Not saying they are the same exact thing in different bottles, but all three appear to be very similar.
