With the 4.10's you will be turning your engine faster on the highway, but they will be much better for towing. Make sure you change your front leaf springs too (unless you want it to ride like a tank).
Ive done a SAS on a F350 2wd truck not F240 4x4 ifs. But definitely change the leaf springs up front. I would recommend a reverse shackle kit because the solar axle trucks ride rough. You don't need to change that much out because you already have leaf springs. You also have to add the f350 springs onto the rear and the helper springs. This will make your truck pretty much a f350 and able to tow more. Also Id paint what I can when it they are all out. It lessons the chance of rusting and breakage in the future.
