48-52 front fenders

I was out at Spring Carlisle today, and took these pictures. Midwest Early Ford had them. They're $850.00 each. Dennis. All steel.

I assume they are steel? Not fiberglas? Are they made by Dennis Carpenter?

I zoomed in on the sign, it does say steel and $850 per side upper/lower. That sounds reasonable to me.

For all the anticipation built up for the sales release of these fenders, a hand lettered scrap of paper on something plopped on the grass wasn't what I was expecting. Let's hope that they make a go of it despite their stumble out of the gate.

Just checked their web site, they have the lower front extensions for $550 for the pr. didn't see the upper sections listed but must be making them too. I bought the fiberglass (Bebops) fenders from Midwest Early Ford a few years back and they fit like crap, glad someone is making these in steel.

June is what i was told. These had some blemishes but I tried to buy the display! Not happening. I thought the price was reasonable for upper and lowers. They said they had some tweaking to do but should be making them by June.

$850 a full fender is a great price, IMO. Are you sure on the price for a full fender, upper and lower? Seems if they are charging $550 for a pair of lowers alone, which Northern Classic Truck was also charging, a complete fender would be in the $1500 range. The upper part is a lot more complicated part.

Blow up this picture, the sign says "$850 per side for upper/lower." Hmmm, unless they mean $850 for the upper and $850 for the lower.

Hard to believe they are $850 per side but that's what the hand written sign says. Can't have a slightly rusted out fender fixed for that price. How much for a factory fender for a brand new F-150? 1/4 the metal and none of the complex stampings. I wouldn't be surprised if they were twice he price. Could someone just have slapped the sign on as a joke?
