I think I found a gem!

I was wondering if there was any one out there who can tell me about how to find out if the truck I got is original?

Take a picture of the VIN on the door and post it here. I am sure someone will let you know.

others that know more than me will chime in (especially in VIN decode) but what do you mean by "original"? This means many things to different people. First off, the mirrors, wheels, bed rail protectors, & tool box jump out as being not original, but the sheet metal including the bed (in this one view) looks to be good 'original' stuff. I'm guessing if you post a pic of the interior it's also got some non-original stuff. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, my opinion is this is a nice truck to start with for a driver or project. I'm in the rust belt, so rust-free sheet metal is a turn-on 😋. Of course the pic doesn't tell us if it's full of bondo or the cab mounts are rusted out.
